Journalists Accused of Criminal Co-Conspiracy

Carla Del Ponte accuses Croatian journalists of criminal co-conspiracy

ICTY Chief Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte, responded to Judge Robinson's 5 page ruling ordering a clarification be provided regarding the indictments and motions of joinder concerning the indicted journalists.

Carla Del Ponte responds to the Judge's ruling with a 59 page rebuttal where she claims the journalists were criminal co-conspirators in revelaing President Mesic as a secret witness.  Further, she fails to acknowledge that the official UN ICTY website were the first to published Mesic as a secret witness. The Croatian journalist case is still very much alive in which The Hague is deliberately derailing and curtailing freedom of the press in Croatia.  The Croatian government remains silent and have become the biggest embarassment as the so-called representatives of the Croatian people.

On March 10, 2006, two of the six indicted journalists were fined $18,000 US Dollars.  Their case is now in the Appeals Chamber. The journalist case is now in its second year and Del Ponte continues her witch hunt against Croatian journalists, Croatian generals and the Croatian people.  How much more time and resources will be used to go after Croatian journalists? How much longer can and will this absurd behavior continue?

The UN Court has proved once again they are nothing more than a political court infringing on Croatia's sovereign territory.

Mr. Margetic, representing himself, responded with a 100 page rebuttal.  The entire text in Croatian can be found here: http://www.domagojmargetic.com/media/ODGOVORDELPONTE.pdf
