The Hague's Chief Prosecutor drops indictments against Margetic, Krizic And Šeselj

After a year since the initial appearance of inidicted Croatian journalists accused before the International Criminal Court for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) at The Hague, Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte, decided to withdraw indictments against Domagoj Margetic, Marijan Krizic and Stjepan Šešelj. This is the first of such indictment withdrawl and defeat of Carla Del Ponte and The Hague process which is in fact the result of the constant lobbying by the Croatian Worldwide Association, at the head is President Jackie Prkic from Chicago; in addition to the persistent complaints and protests of international organizations who stood by accused journalist Domagoj Margetic.  "Carla Del Ponte was the bad opponent," said Domagoj Margetic, "This process has shown how even the most most powerful cannot rig trials against the truth.  We have lived through a truley political and communist process, and neither those who lead such processes or such courts cannot and will not last."

Margetic announced he will not withdraw his constitutional complaint against The Hague indictments in Croatian courts and insists that the Republic of Croatia courts explain why were Croatian journalists indicted and pursued.  "I said in the beginning how Del Ponte in this process is the loser and this is now proved. Croatian journalists beat Carla del Ponte, and now we must help our colleague, Josip Jovic, so that his indictment is dropped. In The Hague process, it is most important not to be believe lawyers who are the usual swindlers and deceivers, and those lawyers particularly at The Hague are the worst vultures who do this for money, their careers and are all a part of shameful process against the Croatian Homeland. There is not one honest lawyer at The Hague.  They are all the same! I made the best decision when I decided to defend myself and recommend this to everyone,"  Margetic said.
