Slobodna Dalmacija is Lying

General Ante Roso: Slobodna Dalmacija and Sasa Jadrijevic Tomas are lying
In the last couple of days, Slobodna Dalmacija published my name and alleged comments I made in two articles dated June 28 and 29, 2006.  The titles of the article are: "Roso: I do not have any affiliation with lying donators for General Gotovina" and "Bilaver threatened to murder people."

In both articles, reporter Sasa Jadrijevic Tomas writes that I gave a statement to Slobodna Dalmacija that I am not Honorary President of the Croatian Worldwide Association amd that I do not know about this organization or its President Jackie Prkic. This is a lie. At the formation of the Croatian Worldwide Association, I accepted the Honorary President position of this Croatian emigrant organization and whose work I am very familiar with. With that said, Slobodna Dalmacija’s claims are untrue, they are lying and I demand a public apology from Sasa Jadrijevic Tomas and Slobodna Dalmacija. I was and remain Croatian Worldwide Association Honorary President.

Furthermore, the Croatian Worldwide Association did not, nor did any of its members not for one moment raise any sort of money for General Ante Gotovina, nor did CWA members solicit anyone to contribute any money. This is simply not true. Likewise, the CWA has always openly forewarned emigrants of these manipulations and called upon emigrants not to contribute any money to suspicious individuals and organizations. With all this said, Slobodna Dalmacija does not have any connection with the truth of which there is numerous evidence to the contrary.

General Roso Is Honorary President of the Croatian Worldwide Association

In the last couple of days, Slobodna Dalmacija has reported slander and lies about the Croatian Worldwide Association. They reported and lied that Ret. General Ante Roso did not know that he was chosen as Honorary President and that this was done without his knowledge. With Ret. General Ante Roso's approval, we publicize his handwritten acceptance from which it is clear how Slobodna Dalmacija journalist, Saša Jadrijević Tomas, and Slobodna Dalmacija the newspaper, LIED and falsely reported this to the Croatian public.  "Slobodna Dalmacija is lying that I gave this information," said Ret. General Roso Wednesday morning. Jadrijević Tomas has blatantly lied and that Slobodna Dalmacija printed this lie and slander proves this with Gen. Roso's letter.  "The HDZ is losing control with Croatian emigrants and now with the slander, lies, and manipulation they are trying to gain trust again in the diaspora, said Domagoj Margetić,  "Sanader is panicking so he, his cohorts and media cowards use lies and deceit in order to smear those people who are trusted.  "Sanader, pack your bags and buy a non-refundable airplane ticket from Croatia," suggests Domagoj Margetic, Croatian journalist and former ICTY Hague Indictee, to the President of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).  Margetic thinks that very soon Sanader and his Government will be replaced and then will be tried for criminal activities and corruption.
